Hosiden Besson Ltd has developed a Pair Identification Tracer that operates by using a digital signal. This method is the first using digital technology in the field of cable tracing. The use of this technology will dramatically reduce the time identifying the pair when used by engineers.
The Toner Generator also has the ability to recognise data services and will restrict the users from connecting to the line and therefore causes zero disruption to the line.
The Digital Tone generates a digital signal that when used in conjunction with the Digital Filter Probe allows engineers to quickly identify cable pairs even in electrically noisy environments, where other cable tracer are ineffective. The Digital Filter Probe removes unwanted electrical background noise and hum, allowing clear audio and visual indication when the cable pair located. This technology reduces the time engineers take to identify wires.
The Analogue tone generator produces a distinct 1KHz warble signal that when used in conjunction with the analogue probe provides engineers a quick and reliable means of cable tracing.
