Representing the latest advances in analogue telephone test equipment, including a 10-number memory store, the 290 offers two modes of operation and TX with built-in Ringer for call indication.

The 290 is the ideal answer for engineers who work in exchanges, and or at customers' premises.

Designed to make the Job easier

• Push button keypad with loop disconnect and DTMF dialing
• Ten number memory store of up to 24 digits (with in-built memory support battery) each plus last number re-dial for up to 24 digits
• Line polarity indication
• High impedance monitoring circuit (more than 20k Ohm) prevents corruption of data travelling on the line during test
• Audible ringer and microphone mute

• Operates at high line current (up to 150mA) for use in the exchange or in the field
• Earth and time break recall

Designed for durability

• Resistance to "raw" 50 volt supply protects the test telephone
