Compliance with the RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC
According to the RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC, Manufacturers must ensure that from July 15, 2006 any new electrical and electronic equipment put on the market does not contain more than 0.1 percent by weight of lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) or polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) and 0.01 percent by weight of cadmium per homogeneous material.
It is Hosiden Besson intention to ensure that all of the products impacted by the RoHS directive which we supply to you will be compliant from July 1st 2006. Please note that the RoHS directive is enabled to prevent the manufacture of non-compliant products after July 1st, 2006. You will still be able to sell products in your inventory and be compliant with the directive.
We have a full program in place to ensure compliance with the directive before that date and feel confident we will meet this goal.
