EMC

Hosiden Besson (HBL) operate an independent Electro-Magnetic Compatibility compliance facility located in the UK:

• Our EMC test equipment is calibrated and traceable to National Standards
• The results of our facility are used for our own EMC Self Certification, so you can rest assured we follow best practice
• We operate a CISPR 16-1 compliant measuring receiver to achieve accurate traceable results for EMC emissions, a service usually restricted to Notified Bodies.

RoHS/WEEE

Hosiden Besson Ltd fully comply with the Restriction on the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment directive (RoHS).

RoHS is a European Directive aiming to control the use of certain hazardous substances in the production of new Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE). It is a partner directive to the Waste in Electrical and Electronic Equipment directive (WEEE) that controls the disposal and recycling of EEE. In the UK the RoHS Directive is implemented through the RoHS Regulations (Statutory Instrument SI2008 No.37).
