Hosiden Besson was established in 1957, trading as A P Besson and Partner Limited manufacturing earpieces for the National Health Service.
Sold to Crystalate Electronics in 1971 as part of a manufacturing group it assimilated injection mouldings and printed circuit board manufacture. The Besson division was founded.
On 2nd March 1990 Hosiden Corporation, a major Japanese component company supplying the global communications markets, acquired the company.
